A replica of the Liberty Bell to be rung by troops

The Bell,

• is a full-sized replica of the original Liberty Bell

• Was cast in 2001 to Commemorate a triple anniversary:  300 years of religious liberty; 250 years since the ordering of the first liberty bell; 225 years since the first reading of the Declaration of Independence.

• Weighs 3,200 lbs.

• Was cast in the same London foundry as the original.

• Has an etched crack allowing it to ring in the same tone as the original bell.

• Includes the same biblical inscription of Leviticus 25:10… Proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof.

Providence Forum , a non profit corporation, educates Americans of all ages on how our fathers lived, and what they believed, using their own records and statements to strengthen our knowledge of the values and beliefs of our Founders.  Providence Forum is making arrangement for the bell to be brought to Washington, DC and to be included in the ceremony.
